A mechanical ship model (like our pirate ship or the Viking dragon ship), on the other hand, features real movement: wheels turn, parts swing, and the mechanics work. 3D puzzles are ideal for beginners and as affordable decor, while mechanical kits are for tinkerers who want to invest 10+ hours in a model.
Our selection ranges from classic sailing ships and Japanese diplomatic vessels to cruise ships and fishing boats. A special highlight is the airship (Zeppelin-style). Each model is laser-cut from high-quality plywood, comes with illustrated instructions, and can be assembled without tools or glue. Depending on the model, 2–5 hours. A sailing ship or fishing boat takes 2–3 hours to complete—perfect for a leisurely afternoon. Larger models, such as the cruise ship or the zeppelin, take 4–5 hours. Simply cut the pieces out of the wooden sheet, follow the instructions step by step, and watch as flat wooden pieces transform into a three-dimensional ship. No stress, no time pressure, no tools.
For anyone who wants a beautiful wooden model for their shelf without committing to hours-long building projects.
