Frequently Asked Questions
Is that too hard if I've never built a diorama before?
This set is rated Level 3 out of 5 (medium). The 396 pieces are pre-assembled and fit together perfectly; you simply follow the illustrated instructions step by step. Patience is more important than experience when it comes to the small details.
What's in the box, and what's still missing?
Included are all the wooden parts, the paper details, the LED light, and an illustrated instruction manual. Craft glue is not included; standard white glue or craft glue will suffice. If you’d like the right tools for the job, our tool kit is available separately as an accessory.
How much space does it take up on the shelf?
Once assembled, it measures about 11 x 18 x 23 cm. Book Nooks often look bigger in photos than they actually are; this one fits on a standard bookshelf shelf. Just check beforehand to make sure your shelf has at least 23 cm of space.
Do I need additional tools?
It's not necessary. Our tool kit—which includes a utility knife, file, ruler, and mini hammer—is available separately as an accessory, but it makes it easier to remove and align the small parts. If you already have these tools at home, the kit alone is enough.
Is this a good gift, and for whom?
It is recommended for ages 14 and up. It's perfect for people who enjoy fantasy and books and like to build things themselves. Those who prefer to unwrap something that's already made will probably prefer a different gift.
What if I don't like it after all?
We ship from Berlin, and you have a 100-day return policy; you can also pay by invoice. If you have any questions during assembly, you can contact our team directly—real people are there to answer your questions.
