How big is it, really?

Once assembled, it measures approximately 23 x 18 x 11 cm, with the longest side measuring 23 cm. In photos and videos, Book Nooks usually look bigger than they actually are. Before ordering, quickly check to see if your shelf has 23 cm of free space.

Where does the electricity for the lighting come from?

The lights run on two AAA batteries (type LR03). They are not included in the set; you'll need to provide them yourself. You don't need a nearby outlet.
