Frequently Asked Questions
What exactly is included in the bundle?
You'll receive two complete Book Nook kits: Sakura Densya with 340 pieces and Sunshine City with 246 pieces—586 pieces in total. Each set is complete in itself and is assembled separately. So you can keep one and give the other away.
How big are they when they're finished?
When assembled, Sakura Densya measures 19 x 12 x 22 cm, and Sunshine City measures 19 x 10 x 24 cm. Both are designed to fit on a standard bookshelf and sit among your books. In photos, scenes like these often look larger than they actually are.
Can I build two kits at once?
Both models are rated at a difficulty level of 4 out of 5 and each takes about four to six hours to build. You don't have to build them on the same day; the second one can easily wait a few weeks. They are recommended for ages 14 and up.
What if a part is missing or broken?
That's what our free replacement parts service is for. Just tell us which part from which model you're missing, and we'll send it to you. With two kits totaling 586 parts, that's a comforting thought.
Is this bundle a good gift?
Yes, precisely because it contains two complete sets. You can give both as a gift or keep one for yourself. They're recommended for ages 14 and up and are perfect for people who love books and enjoy building things themselves.
How do the two motifs differ?
"Sakura Densya" depicts a ride on a Japanese train through Tokyo in the spring. "The City of Sunshine" is an urban scene featuring a café and a bookstore. In terms of production value, they are similar, but their atmospheres differ significantly.
