To set the bus in motion, press the magic manipulator button. The Knight Bus™ roars off thanks to a system of gears.

The special thing about the self-built wooden model of the Knight Bus™ is that it can transform into a narrower or wider shape with a twist of the magic manipulator when you turn the knob on the top of the bus. So you can squeeze through traffic. Turn the knob clockwise to enlarge the bus (and all the passengers) to their true size.

The amazing thing is that as the width of the bus changes, so does the speed! In its normal (non-compressed) state, the bus travels amazingly fast. When you compress the bus, an internal mechanism makes the bus go in slow motion.
