You don't need glue—the birch wood model is assembled entirely by slotting the pieces together. If you'd like, you can secure individual joints for added stability. Handy tips for building: Use a utility knife and a file to cleanly remove the parts and smooth out tight spots; use the small hammer to gently tap the joints into place so everything fits securely. All three tools are included in our tool set.
How long does the assembly take?
Plan on spending about 5–9 hours on this—feel free to spread it out over several relaxing craft nights.
A part is missing or broken: How do I get a replacement?
That's why we offer our free replacement parts service: Just tell us which part you need for which model, and we'll send it to you as soon as possible. Our support team is available on weekdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and responds within about 30 minutes on average.

No, it's all mechanical: The hand crank drives the gear system, and the lifts carry the marbles upward—all without batteries.
