After successful assembly, the ship itself is a real eye-catcher on the desk or in the display case - but only on closer inspection does it reveal its impressive attention to detail.

There is a bathyscaphe for exploring the seas, as well as a small motorboat and a lifeboat on board - and the manufacturer has even included a built-in launching ramp. As befits a real research vessel, this true-to-original wooden model is of course also equipped with a movable slewing crane, which is used to retrieve the bathyscaphe from the depths of the ocean and then place it on a special launching platform.

The slewing jib crane is also ideal for handling goods - these are simply stowed in the cargo hold, which is accessible via an opening loading hatch
