Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need magic skills to build the pinball machine?
No, you don't need a magic wand—just a little patience and a love of tinkering. The set is rated Level 3 out of 5 (Intermediate). With the tool set from the Starter Kit, assembling the 402 pieces becomes a relaxing, smooth process—even for Muggles.
Can I paint the pinball machine without it looking like a mess?
Yes. The MagicPens are available in a Master Set or individually as accessories. They adhere well to wood, don't bleed, and let you neatly apply your team colors, patterns, or creative designs to the playing field. If you don't want to paint, just leave the wood natural.
Is this a good gift, or is it more for craft nerds?
Both. Perfect for anyone who loves Harry Potter™, young or old, experienced or just curious. The packaging is high-quality, and the finished, playable pinball machine is guaranteed to elicit the reaction: “Merlin’s beard, where did you get that?”
How long does the assembly take?
Plan on spending about 5–9 hours on this project, preferably spread out over several leisurely craft evenings. There’s no gluing involved—all 402 pieces are simply slotted together.
In which languages are the instructions available?
Illustrated step-by-step instructions in German, English, French, and other languages are included. And if you ever get stuck, our support team will be happy to help.
What happens if a part breaks or is missing?
No problem: We'll send you replacement parts for free. Our support team is available on weekdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and responds within about 30 minutes on average. Items are shipped directly from Berlin · Free shipping on orders of €35 or more.
