Is the Pagoda suitable for beginners?
Probably not. We classify it as Level 5 (Masterpiece), which is significantly more challenging than our beginner models. If this is your first time assembling a wooden puzzle, 275 pieces spread across five levels is a challenging start. Illustrated instructions in German, English, French, and other languages are included; plan on spending 2 to 5 hours on it.
Is something moving at the pagoda?
No. The pagoda is a freestanding model with no moving parts and no lighting. What you're getting is a replica of the five stories of traditional Japanese architecture, designed as a decorative piece.
Do I need glue or special tools?
No, neither. You don't need glue, and the parts are cut so that they fit together without any special tools. We offer a model-building tool set separately, in case you'd rather have something in your hand while pressing the parts out.
How big will the pagoda be?
When assembled, it stands 32 cm tall and has a base measuring 16 x 16 cm. This often makes it too tall for a closed shelf compartment, but it can stand freestanding on a dresser or sideboard.
What if a part breaks?
Spare parts are included on the mounting plates for particularly critical components. If you need a part that is missing from the set, please contact us via our contact form and provide the model and part number. We’ll send you the replacement free of charge.

The pagoda is recommended for ages 14 and up. It's suitable for people who enjoy architecture and Japanese culture and already have some experience with crafts. As a first wooden puzzle for someone with no experience, we would be more likely to give a beginner's model as a gift.
