Yes. The set is at Level 2 out of 5, so it’s also designed for curious beginners. The 313 pieces are pre-cut and simply snap together—you don’t need a workshop or any prior experience. You should set aside two to five hours for this project.
Do I need to glue it or paint it?
No. All the pieces are pre-cut and simply slot together; you don't need glue or paint. That also means you don't have to wait for the glue to dry.
How much shelf space do I need?
That's the most important thing to note about this model. When assembled, it measures about 44 x 11 x 17 cm, making it about 44 cm wide. So you'll need a compartment with at least 44 cm of unobstructed space.
How does the tunnel work?
Place the locomotive on the left side of the shelf and the car on the right. Arrange your own books between them so that they look like a tunnel. The books shown in the product photos are not included.
Who would this make a good gift for?
