No. It's made entirely of wood and requires neither water nor soil. The cherry blossom tree stays in full bloom forever, and the pine tree stays green forever—without you having to do a thing.
Do I need glue or tools?
No. The parts are designed to fit together and hold their shape without glue. We carry a model-building tool set separately in our accessories section, but you won't need it for this kit.
How big will the bonsai grow?
