It is well known that the Ukrainian manufacturer Ugears does not rely on classic models when developing its wooden kits. A very good example of this is the unusual wooden cash register model, which is not only pretty to look at, but also serves to store real cash.

Pretty miniature cash register with real cash drawer

When designing the "cash register" model kit, Ugears took its cue from a vintage cash register and recreated it in as much detail as possible with a miniature look. The mechanical model made of sustainable wood has special coin and banknote compartments in which you can store real money, as well as a typical lever on the right-hand side that allows you to insert banknotes.

To prevent strangers from tampering with your money, the cash register is also equipped with a special code mechanism, which you can change at any time if you wish.

Store bills and coins in no time at all

Once the cash register, which consists of 405 individual parts, has been successfully assembled, the fun really begins: if you want to insert coins into it, you can simply use the built-in coin slot.

Then move the attached lever up and down and the coin will be fed through the counter into the coin compartment provided. If, on the other hand, you want to store a banknote, you can simply insert it into the parallel banknote slot.

Before you do this, you have to move the lever up and down ten times to wind up the built-in rubber band motor. Up to four banknotes are then automatically drawn in via the bill feeder. You can use the counter to see how much cash is currently in your cash register at any time.

If you want to take the money out again, simply enter the previously selected secret code and then turn the key. The cash register will now open and the counter will be reset.

Simple assembly without additional aids

As you would expect from the manufacturer Ugears, the model cash register kit also impresses with its flawless build quality.

The wood used to manufacture the individual components is sustainably sourced from European forests and the precision of the individual parts is also impressive.

This is made possible by a special laser process with which the parts are cut out and therefore fit together perfectly.

Particularly practical: you don't need any glue or additional tools to assemble this model.

Simply put the individual pieces together like a 3D puzzle and enjoy the finished result.

The wooden panels have an appropriate thickness and are tested according to strict quality specifications. However, it can happen that a part breaks.
