The fact that the Ukrainian manufacturer Ugears does not rely on classic models in the development of its wooden construction kits should be well known by now. A very good example of this is the unusual wooden cash register, which is not only nice to look at but also serves to store real cash.

Ugears based the design of the "Cash Register" model kit on a vintage cash register and recreated it as detailed as possible in a miniature look. The mechanical model made of sustainable wood has special coin and note compartments in which you can store real money, as well as a typical lever on the right side that allows you to insert notes.

To prevent strangers from taking your money, the cash register is also equipped with a special code mechanism whose code you can change at any time.

Store banknotes and coins in no time at all

Once the 405-part cash register has been successfully assembled, the fun really begins: if you want to insert coins into it, you can simply use the built-in coin slot.

Then move the attached lever up and down and the coin will be fed through the counter into the designated coin compartment after it has been successfully inserted. If, on the other hand, you want to store a banknote, you can simply insert it into the parallel banknote slot.

Before you do this, you have to move the lever up and down ten times to wind up the built-in rubber band motor. The banknote feeder then automatically feeds in up to four banknotes. With the help of the counter, you can see at any time how much cash is currently in your cash register.

If you want to take the money out again, simply enter the previously selected secret code and then turn the key. The cash register will now open and the counter will be reset.

Easy assembly without additional tools

As you would expect from the manufacturer Ugears, the model kit cash register also impresses with its impeccable quality of workmanship.

The wood used to manufacture the individual components comes from sustainable cultivation in European forests and the precision of the individual parts is also impressive.

This is made possible by a special laser process with which the parts are cut out and thus fit together perfectly.

Particularly practical: you need neither glue nor additional tools to assemble this model.

Simply put the individual pieces together like a 3D puzzle and enjoy the finished result.

The wooden panels have an appropriate thickness and are tested according to strict quality specifications. However, it can happen that a part breaks.
