Can I do this even without any experience?
The pinball machine is a Level 5 (Masterpiece) model and, with 482 pieces, is a challenging build. The instructions receive a lot of praise in reviews. But take your time and stay patient—it’s a bit of a challenge as a first project.
Do I need glue or tools?
Generally speaking, no—the tongue-and-groove joints hold the model together. Some hobbyists also secure individual sections with a drop of wood glue. Handy tips for building: Use a utility knife and a file to cleanly remove the parts and smooth out tight spots; use the small hammer to gently tap the joints into place so everything fits securely. All three tools are included in our tool set.
How long does the assembly really take?
Officially 10+ hours; reviews mention 11 to 20 hours. But in the end, you're rewarded with a fully functional pinball machine that you'll want to play over and over again.
