Breathtaking richness of detail and high-quality wood

The model from Ugears shines with breathtaking diversity. The mechanical model made of high-quality wood is composed of 726 components. Logically, there are a lot of details that bring the airspace directly into your own four walls.

The construction time is around 12 to 15 hours and involves a lot of excitement and tricky tasks. The level of difficulty is high, but the detailed and easy-to-understand instructions make the construction a complete success.

The two flying machines can then simply be placed in the outrigger of the control tower and the journey can begin.

The control tower

The heart of the mechanical model is a control tower, which is a sophisticated device equipped with a high-performance motor. Through this, the rotation of the swash plate can be driven and the movement of the models can be realised.

The great functionality of the control tower is rounded off by two control levers: The column regulates the tilt and rotation of the flying machine and the motor control can be used to adjust the speed of the aircraft. In this way, the control tower fulfils the function of a cockpit.

The helicopter

The helicopter is somewhat easier to control and manoeuvre than the aeroplane. It has a cockpit with doors that can be opened and also closed again. The highlight is the main hub with three blades, and there is also a tail rotor. Even though the controls are simple, that doesn't mean they are any less exciting with the helicopter.

The aircraft

Aviation always has something to do with speed, and this is exactly what the mechanical model aircraft stands for. A certain amount of skill, or experience, is needed to handle the aircraft, but you can acquire this quickly - and the flying hours are what make it so appealing.

The basis of the model is a braced biplane, which is braced with metal rods and has a 5-piston engine.
