The pieces are made of medium-density fiberboard (MDF) instead of cardboard, and the bright colors are printed directly onto the wood. Unlike a traditional puzzle, each piece has its own unique shape, and many feature an animal or a character. The packaging is also high-quality.
How big is the finished puzzle?
That depends on the size you choose. The finished M size measures 27 x 27 cm, the L size 35 x 35 cm, and the XL size 47 x 47 cm; the outer edge follows the shape of the lion’s head. The XL size thus takes up almost half a meter in each direction, while the M size fits on a small table.
How many pieces are there, what are their sizes, and how long does it take to put the puzzle together?
M has 181 pieces and takes two to five hours to assemble; L has 327 pieces and XL has 537 pieces, so plan on spending five to nine hours on each. The difficulty levels range from Level 1 of 5 (Beginner) for M, through Level 3 (Intermediate) for L, to Level 5 (Masterpiece) for XL. The wooden pieces are pre-cut; you don’t need any tools and don’t have to sand anything.
