Frequently Asked Questions
What's included in the Hogwarts Bound Bundle?
This set includes two Ugears kits: Platform 9¾ and the Hogwarts Express, totaling 734 pieces. Once assembled, the train can pull right up to the platform, and the two models together create a magical diorama.
Do I need glue for the assembly?
You don't need glue. The parts are precision-machined and can be assembled into sturdy models without any additional tools. If you like, you can reinforce individual joints.
Are there any moving parts in the models?
Yes, the Hogwarts Express: It’s powered by a metal spring mechanism, and the figures in the passenger car move along with the train as it travels. Platform 9¾ is a static model featuring figures of Harry and Ron and a section of track onto which the train can pull in.
Can I complete the bundle without any experience?
Yes: Level 3 of 5 (Medium). Feel free to start with the platform and then try your hand at the locomotive.
How long does the assembly take?
