Railway lovers take note: With its V-Express steam locomotive, the Ukrainian company Ugears offers a particularly realistic wooden model of a locomotive from long forgotten times. Ugears Lokomotive - A tribute to steam locomotives from the good old days

The Ugears locomotive is an impressive replica of a steam locomotive from the time of the Industrial Revolution, modelled on its great prototype down to the smallest detail.

With 538 individual parts, the locomotive is clearly one of the manufacturer's larger wooden models, but it also has an impressive length and various special features - such as an associated track bed, movable wheels and a true-to-the-original tender, which was used to carry coal in earlier times.

After assembling this nostalgically inspired model kit, you can easily set the steam locomotive in motion with the help of the built-in rubber winding motor - one winding enables you to cover a distance of four metres.

You can even change the direction of the locomotive with a small lever on the side of the locomotive: Depending on your preference, you can choose between three modes: forward, reverse and idle - the latter allows you to view the precisely working toothed wheels while the locomotive itself stands still. In reverse, the locomotive rolls backwards and automatically docks with the tender. The tender itself has a small hatch that can be locked with the help of a latch.

Of course, the tender can transport not only coal, but also many other things: Simply fill it with sweets, small office helpers such as rubber bands and safety pins or similar utensils of your choice.
