Just how tricky is the heart, really?
The heart isn't a multi-level Riddle Box, but rather a mechanical wooden box with a combination lock. It opens as soon as the three words are set correctly. It gets tricky for anyone who doesn't know the code, because the three gears can be arranged in more than 50 different combinations.
How do you open your heart?
Set the correct words on the three gears. If the sentence is correct, pull the arrow, and the lid will open. The default code is set to "I LOVE YOU."
Do I have to assemble anything?
No, the box arrives fully assembled. All you have to do is set it to the code set you want, and you can use it right away.
What should I do if I get stuck while adjusting the settings?
There are photo and video instructions that show the process step by step for setting and opening the lid. It's also important to remember the new code combination when you change it. Without the correct combination, the lid will remain closed.
Can you reuse the heart or give it to someone else?
Yes, you can reset the code set at any time. This means you can give the box away multiple times and choose a different set each time. Whoever receives it will face the same challenge you did.
What code sets can I configure?
Each of the three gears bears eight words. The first one has I, SAVE, I’M, YOU’RE, FIND, BE, TAKE, and OPEN; the second has LOVE, HATE, BEST, SWEET, MY, YOUR, WANT, and LUCKY; and the third has, among others, YOU, PUZZLE, HEART, JULIET, BEER, VEGGIE, and ROMEO. This creates sentences like “TAKE MY HEART” or “BE MY ROMEO.”

is a mechanical wooden box with a customizable code lock. The code consists of three words and you can choose the combination you like best from the options provided. You can keep it romantic and set the key to I LOVE YOU or TAKE MY HEART or you can set it to a fun message like I LOVE BEER. There are 8 words on each of the three cogs and more than 50 possible combinations. The Tin Woodman heart is a great gift that can also be used as a clever gift box!
POSSIBLE CODE SETS
You can make it romantic and leave the key phrase as I LOVE YOU or you can set it as a funny message, e.g. OPEN MY BEER. There are 8 options/words for each gear, and you can use the comtion you like best. Here are the options for words that can be used in the code set:
Gear 1: I, SAVE, I'M, YOU'RE, FIND, BE, TAKE, OPEN
Gear 2: LOVE, HATE, BEST, SWEET, MY, YOUR, WANT, LUCKY
Gear 3: YOU, PUZZLE, HEART, SEX, JULIET, BEER, VEGGIE, ROMEO
