Yes. We rate it as Level 2 for curious hobbyists—that’s the second of five levels. But don’t underestimate how long it will take; the 230 pieces are estimated to take 5 to 9 hours to assemble. Illustrated instructions in German and English are included, so you can spread the assembly out over several evenings.
Is anything moving on the model?
Yes. The loading shovel can be raised and lowered; you can use it to load and unload. The wheels turn, so the loader rolls. Everything is operated by hand; there is no motor or batteries.
Do I need glue or tools?
No, you don't need glue; the pieces are precision-cut to fit together and are simply snapped into place. We sell a model-building tool set separately in our accessories section if you find it difficult to pop the pieces out of the sheets. We also carry Magic Craft Glue individually.
How big will the loader be?
When assembled, it measures 32 x 12 x 10 cm, so it’s 32 cm long. This requires a full-length shelf or a sideboard; a narrow compartment won’t be enough. If you plan to add more construction machinery, be sure to allow for the necessary space.
What if a part breaks when I push it out?
For particularly critical parts, replacement parts are already included on the assembly plates. If yours isn't listed, please contact us via our contact form or the HelpCenter, specifying the model and part number. You'll receive the replacement free of charge.
