Is there any movement in the finished balloon?
No. The hot-air balloon is a display model with no moving parts and no lights. Once assembled, it can be left on a shelf or table as a decoration.
Do I need glue or tools?
Glue is not included with the kit; the parts are pre-assembled and snap together. If you have trouble snapping them together or want to smooth out the edges, you’ll find a model-building tool set in our accessories section. For joints you want to secure further, Magic Craft Glue is available separately.
How big will the balloon get, and where should I put it?
When assembled, it measures 15 x 10 x 21 cm. The base is about the size of a postcard; it requires a good 21 cm in height, so it will fit on an open shelf, a dresser, or a desk. In product photos, models like this often look bigger than they actually are.
What should I do if a part breaks when I try to push it out?
For particularly critical parts, replacement parts are already included on the assembly plates. If yours isn't listed, please contact us via our contact form or the HelpCenter, specifying the model and part. You'll receive the replacement free of charge.
Is the balloon a good gift, and for what age group?
