Frequently Asked Questions
What makes this wooden puzzle different from a cardboard puzzle?
The pieces are made of medium-density fiberboard (MDF) instead of cardboard. Among the 1,000 pieces are 40 special shapes in the form of squirrels, leaves, acorns, and stars—shapes that a cardboard puzzle doesn’t have. Once assembled, the result is a wall mural instead of a full box. The wooden pieces are delivered in a fabric pouch inside a premium wooden box.
How big is the finished puzzle?
Once assembled, it measures 52 by 38 centimeters, so the longer side is a good half meter long. A standard dining table is big enough for putting the puzzle together. Still, make sure to set aside a little more space than the finished picture will require.
What makes the squirrel motif so special?
Its alert eyes, distinctive tufted ears, and vibrant colors make the squirrel a subject full of curiosity. It brings a piece of the forest into your living room. With 1,000 pieces, it takes more than ten hours to assemble the picture, piece by piece.
Can I do this even without any experience?
Yes. The puzzle is rated Level 5 out of 5 (Masterpiece) and is recommended for ages 12 and up; above all, it requires patience. You assemble the 1,000 pieces without glue or tools, and you can take breaks whenever you want—you can spread the more than ten hours of work out over several evenings as you like.
Can I hang up the finished puzzle?
Yes. With the Puzzle Saver adhesive sheets from MagicHolz , you can permanently secure your completed puzzle and then hang it up. You can purchase the adhesive sheets separately in our store.
What if a part is missing or breaks?
Our spare parts service is free: Just tell us which part you need, and we'll send it to you as soon as possible. Support is available weekdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., with an average response time of about 30 minutes. Shipped from Berlin · Free shipping on orders of €35 or more.
