The set is rated Level 3 out of 5 and can be assembled even without much building experience. The 204 laser-cut pieces fit together step by step until the lab takes shape from flat wooden panels. Patience is more important than experience when it comes to the fine details.
Does the craft kit really have everything I need?
The Starter Kit also includes our tool kit, which contains a file, a ruler, a mini hammer, a utility knife, and stainless steel glue tips. However, glue and batteries are not included—you’ll need to purchase those separately. Regular craft glue or white glue will work just fine.
How big is it, really?
Once assembled, it measures about 11 x 18 x 24 cm, with the longest side being 24 cm. This means it fits on a standard bookshelf between your books, where it also serves as a bookend. In photos, scenes like this usually look bigger than they actually are.
How is the lighting operated?
The lights are powered by batteries, which are not included in the set. Make sure to get them before you start setting it up, so you can turn them on right after you finish assembling the last piece.
